Course Overview

The trekking courses in Aokigahara are well-maintained, making them safe for beginners. A recommended route starts from Fugaku Wind Cave and goes to Saiko Bat Cave. This route is about 4.2 kilometers long and takes about 1-2 hours.

  1. Fugaku Wind Cave:
This cave has cool air flowing through it, making it a refreshing spot even in summer. You can also see ice inside the cave.
  2. Saiko Bat Cave:
A lava cave within Aokigahara, once home to many bats. You can explore the inside and experience the wonders of nature.

  • Bring a course map to avoid getting lost and stay on the trail.
  • Wear trekking shoes, as some areas can be slippery.
  • Take your trash with you to help protect the environment.
