Kichijiro’s Dream

Once upon a time, in a village, there was a man named Kichijiro who was known for his cleverness and humor. One night, Kichijiro had a very strange dream.

The next morning, the villagers gathered around and asked, “Kichijiro, what kind of dream did you have last night?” Kichijiro smiled and said, “It was a funny dream.”

“Last night, I was invited to a huge castle. The castle had many beautiful rooms, and piles of gold and silver treasures. But the owner of the castle told me something strange. He said, ‘You can take as much treasure as you want, but there’s one condition.'”

The villagers were curious and asked, “What was the condition?”

Kichijiro continued, “The condition was that I could only take one piece of treasure at a time. So, I had to go back and forth many times between the castle and my house.”

The villagers laughed and asked, “That must have been hard work. How much treasure did you bring home?”

Kichijiro laughed and said, “Well, I worked really hard, but then I woke up! So, in the end, I didn’t bring any treasure home.”

The villagers burst into laughter and said, “Kichijiro, even in your dreams, you have the funniest adventures!”

And so, Kichijiro’s dream story spread throughout the village, bringing smiles and laughter to everyone. The end.
