Red Ogre and Blue Ogre

Long, long ago, in a small village, there lived two ogres: Red Ogre and Blue Ogre. Despite their fearsome appearances, both ogres were kind-hearted and wanted to make friends with the villagers. However, the villagers were scared of them and avoided them.

One day, Red Ogre came up with an idea to show the villagers that they were friendly. He shared his plan with Blue Ogre. “If you pretend to attack the village, I can come and ‘rescue’ them. Then, they will see that I’m not dangerous and want to be friends,” Red Ogre explained.

Blue Ogre agreed to help. The next day, he went to the village and pretended to cause trouble. The villagers were frightened and began to panic. Just then, Red Ogre appeared and chased Blue Ogre away, saving the village. The villagers cheered for Red Ogre, believing that he had saved them from danger.

As a result, the villagers started to trust Red Ogre. They invited him to their homes and enjoyed spending time with him. Red Ogre was happy to have made friends with the villagers.

However, Red Ogre noticed that Blue Ogre was no longer around. He realized that his friend might feel left out or misunderstood because of the plan they had executed. Red Ogre missed his friend and decided to visit Blue Ogre’s home.

When Red Ogre reached Blue Ogre’s house, he found a note. The note read, “Dear Red Ogre, I’m glad you made friends with the villagers. I’m going away so that they won’t be scared of me and you can stay happy. Your friend, Blue Ogre.”

Red Ogre felt a deep sense of sadness and gratitude. He realized the sacrifice Blue Ogre had made for his happiness. Although he continued to be friends with the villagers, he never forgot his dear friend, Blue Ogre.

Red Ogre often looked out at the mountains, hoping that one day Blue Ogre would return. He cherished the memory of his friend’s kindness and hoped that they would meet again.
