Course Overview

Mount Tsurugi offers several trekking routes:

  1. Chairlift Route: The sightseeing chairlift makes it easy to access the summit. The lift ascends about 330 meters in 15 minutes. From the top station, it’s a 30-45 minute hike to the summit via the Ridge Trail Course. Alternatively, the Tsurugi Trail Course (60 minutes) or the Yuhodo Promenade Trail Course (80 minutes) offer longer hikes through the forested mountainside​.
  2. Full Hike: For those preferring a full hike, the trail from the Minokoshii trailhead to the summit takes about 2 hours. This route provides a more immersive experience through the lush, seasonal landscapes​​.
